Lacquer Jubako for special occasions and everyday use. This jubako is a slightly compact 15cm square, perfect for packing enough food for two people.
Without dividers, it offers flexibility in what you can put inside, making it easy to use for different meals and occasions.
The lid also makes a wonderful serving dish on the table.
It's a versatile item that will come in handy for New Year's dishes, everyday entertaining, picnic lunches, or even as a container for Japanese sweets.
The texture of the lacquer creates "everyday specialness"It is coated in traditional black lacquer, with a thin application on the outside to allow a faint hint of the wood grain to show through, while the inside is finished so the wood grain does not show.
Both have a matte finish that elegantly enhances the food.
Even though it's all black, the different expressions coexist in one jubako, subtly creating depth for each occasion.
"Lacquerware that accompanies modern life"It presents a dignified appearance for ceremonial occasions, and elegantly accompanies an ordinary day.
That presence is the charm of this jubako.

Enjoy the changing seasons with a lifelong lacquer jubako.
