Damaged or Defective Items

While we take the utmost care in inspecting and packaging each piece, if you should find any of the following issues, we will arrange for an exchange.
Please contact us via our contact form within 6 days of receiving your order.
In the case of defective or damaged items, we will bear all return shipping costs.

  • The item was damaged or broken during transit.
  • The item has significant scratches or stains not mentioned on the product page.
  • The item received is different from what you ordered.
  • There is a discrepancy in the quantity of items received.

*To help us assess the condition, we may ask you to provide photographs of the damaged area.

Returns for Personal Reasons

We generally do not accept returns or exchanges for personal reasons, such as the item not matching your expectations, size differences, or accidental purchases. We kindly ask that you carefully review the product descriptions and images before making your purchase.

While returns for personal reasons are typically not accepted, we may make an exception at our discretion. In such rare cases, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • In instances of significant individual variations not mentioned on the product page.
  • In instances where there was a clear error in the product description (e.g., significant discrepancies in size markings).

Important Notes on Returns & Exchanges

  • We cannot accept requests for returns or exchanges if more than 6 days have passed since the item's arrival.
    Please inspect your items as soon as they are delivered.
  • Refunds will be processed once the returned item has arrived at our shop and its condition is confirmed.
  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges for items that have been used.
    Many of the pieces at Amenoie are crafted from materials that change in color with their first use or develop a unique "patina" (aging) over time. This evolution is a cherished characteristic of these artisanal tools. Please review the specific notes on each product page regarding these natural changes before completing your purchase.
