AJI PROJECT is an interior design brand that showcases the stunning beauty of Aji stone (Aji-ishi).
Aji stone is a premium grade of granite quarried from the rock faces of Mount Goken, which spans the towns of Mure and Aji in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture.
The brand was launched in 2012 by 13 local stonemasons and volunteers from the Chamber of Commerce, born from a shared desire to bring the unique charm of this stone to a wider audience.

Aji stone has a rich history, having been used traditionally for over 400 years in architecture and stone statues.
AJI PROJECT preserves the stone’s natural forms and textures while elevating them into refined designs that blend seamlessly into modern daily life.
