SAKUZAN× Amenoiye "fog"

"fog" is enveloped in a veil of mist, with a soft expression and an ethereal atmosphere.
Its quiet and elegant presence calms the heart every time you hold it.
When we visited Sakuzan Kiln in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, we were captivated by the colorful glazes and designs, and asked if we could create a special set that would be a part of everyday life. This is how "fog" was born.
Its beauty, reminiscent of natural scenes and foreign landscapes, gently blends into any dining table,
enhancing the appeal of the food and adding richness and warmth to daily life.

SAKUZAN× Amenoiye "clay"

The "clay" bowl was created with Sakuzan Kiln out of a desire for a deeper vessel.
It was named with the wish to deliver the charm of clay as it is.
The unique texture remaining on the exterior is a result of using "recycled clay," made by crushing fired vessels and mixing them with new clay.
The layering of various clays creates gradual changes in particles and color, producing a landscape with depth.
It is a bowl that allows you to enjoy a "clay landscape" where no two are exactly alike.
