カネダイ陶器

Collection: Kanedai Ceramics

Creator / Kanedai Touki Material / Clay Region / Iga City, Mie Prefecture

Iga-yaki pottery, which originated in the Nara period, is a ceramic ware with a unique charm, created by heat-resistant clay and traditional techniques.
Organic matter in the clay burns away during the firing process, forming a porous body that slowly transfers heat to the core of ingredients through far-infrared effects.
Its charm lies in its simple yet powerful design, which has been preserved by artisans, and its characteristic of gaining more character with use.

The "7-inch pot" and "Yukihira pot" produced by Kanedai Touki are made from 100% Iga clay, contain no petalite, and feature a glossy black color achieved with traditional "Tenmoku glaze."
Because Iga earthenware pots heat slowly, they bring out the umami flavor of ingredients, allowing you to enjoy delicious hot pot dishes.
