Perfectly at home on bare skin after a bath

From kontex, a brand dedicated to meticulous towel-crafting in Imabari, these waffle towels have arrived with an endearingly dimpled, textured surface.
Both the "Brera" and "Cotton Linen" series are long-time favorites in my own home.
They are pieces that bring a deep sense of comfort every single time I use them.

Growing softer with every wash, yet remarkably quick to dry

The true charm of this towel lies in how surprisingly fast it dries, despite being a generous bath towel.

The unique highs and lows of the waffle weave allow air to pass right through. They dry with ease even during seasons when indoor drying becomes a daily necessity, and I find myself deeply grateful for them when the laundry piles up.

The way they soften with use and gradually grow plumper is a pleasure unique to these towels.
Because it is something I reach for every day, I naturally find myself developing a fond affection for its evolving texture.

BRERA

Though crafted from 100% cotton, it offers a crisp, refreshing touch reminiscent of fine linen.
Available in a serene palette of gray and navy, it is a piece that effortlessly lends an air of refined quality to any space.

COTTON LINEN

A blend of organic cotton and linen creates a light, pleasantly crisp texture.
The exceptional absorbency and quick-drying qualities inherent to linen make it truly indispensable once you experience it.

The Cotton Linen series comes with a convenient hanging loop, making it a delight to simply catch on a hook.

Even when folded and lined up on a shelf, these waffle towels look beautifully neat, blending seamlessly into daily life. They also make a thoughtful, heartwarming gift for someone special.
