Onigiri Case

This onigiri case, made from bamboo, is appealing for its subtle luster and gentle texture.

A key feature of bamboo is its natural breathability, which prevents stuffiness and helps keep foods like onigiri and simmered dishes fresh.
Its excellent breathability is especially welcome for picnics, where humidity tends to build up. It allows excess moisture from the rice to escape appropriately, preventing stickiness and flatness caused by steam.
It's also a delightful benefit that the nori seaweed doesn't get soggy, allowing you to enjoy a pleasant texture.

Furthermore, bamboo is said to have natural antibacterial properties, providing a sense of security even on hot days.
This onigiri case also showcases the meticulous handiwork of Japanese artisans, evident in its precisely crafted lid that closes securely.

Nanpu Kogei

Nanpu Kogei is a comprehensive bamboo trading company founded in 1979 in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture.
In Beppu, known as a major production area for bamboo crafts, they have consistently handled everything from material procurement to manufacturing and sales in-house.

Their system, which includes managing forests and supplying materials to artisans, is a rare and unique initiative not often seen in other production areas.
Realizing that this integrated system fosters trust in high-quality products and leads to a sense of security, I decided to welcome Nanpu Kogei's products into my home.

Furthermore, Nanpu Kogei's products are not merely bamboo crafts; they also possess an aspect of "creative bamboo artistry."
The way modern design and traditional techniques are wonderfully fused by the hands of artisans, while focusing on the sustainable use of bamboo, is particularly impressive as a reason why these products can be cherished for a long time.

Currently, while inheriting the local craftsmanship and aesthetic sense, they have relocated their base to Hiji Town in Oita Prefecture, surrounded by rich nature and abundant seas, and continue to manufacture using high-quality bamboo.

This onigiri case blends seamlessly into any interior.
Stationery, glasses, small accessories, makeup tools you want to keep within reach.
Its free and beautiful bamboo form, without limiting its use, adds a soft touch to daily life.

Touching the bamboo's texture, a blend of glossy, smooth parts and natural roughness, feels like holding nature itself in your hands.
It's an exquisite piece that allows you to subtly feel the breath of the material in your everyday life.

Supple, Strong, and Beautiful

Bamboo is known as a sustainable eco-material that grows surprisingly fast.
While it is lightweight and easy to care for, each piece has its own individuality and flexibility, requiring high skill and patience for processing.

Bamboo products finished with such care are durable and long-lasting, and the beauty that deepens into an amber color with continued use is one of the joys of owning them.
Supple and strong, bamboo that gains character with age combines practicality and design, not merely remaining a "tool," but leading to an experience that soothes the heart.
