"fog" boasts a soft expression and ethereal atmosphere, as if enveloped in a veil of mist.
Its quiet and elegant presence calms your heart every time you hold it.

My encounter with "fog" began when I visited the atelier of Sakuzan Kiln in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture.
Sakuzan Kiln, operating under the concept of "deliciousness from beauty,"
meticulously pursues beauty and usability tailored to each piece, utilizing 14 types of clay and over 100 glaze colors.
Attracted by the vibrant glazes and beautiful designs, I made an audacious request to create special everyday tableware together.
Despite my bold request, they generously produced 7 different types: 3 plate sizes, 3 bowl sizes, and a mug, hoping they could be used in various settings.

Its beauty, reminiscent of natural scenes and foreign landscapes, subtly blends into any dining table,
enhancing the appeal of food and adding richness and warmth to daily life.

fog PLATE

There are various shapes of plates, from those with wide rims to narrow ones.

Among them, we chose the most simple and familiar shape.

Perhaps "Simple is best" is the most fitting description for its form.

Available in three sizes: 15cm, 21cm, and 27cm, all of which are excellent for daily meals.
The 15cm plate comes in four colors: WHITE, BLUE, PINK, and GREEN. It's easy to use for salads, desserts, or as a side plate, and collecting different colors is recommended.
The 21cm and 27cm plates come in two colors: WHITE and BLUE, perfect for main dishes or single-plate meals.
Combining different sizes and colors creates a gentle rhythm on your dining table.

15cm PLATE

The 15cm plate is perfect for salads and small appetizers.

It's also great for serving small snacks or desserts, and its size makes it ideal as a side plate.

Even though it's small, it has enough presence to add color to your dining table.

Available in four color variations: WHITE, BLUE, PINK, and GREEN.
Each soft, misty tone reveals a different expression.
It's enjoyable to choose colors based on the season or your mood, or to arrange different colors for family members.

The 21cm plate is the most frequently used and perfectly sized. It's easy to use for serving sandwiches, pasta, or stir-fries, and the key is its ability to hold a balanced variety of dishes. This single plate is satisfying enough.

The 27cm plate is extremely versatile when you want to serve generous portions of food. It's perfect for main dishes or shared meals, and its size allows for ample servings of larger side dishes, pizza, or pasta. It's ideal for communal dining, but also easy to use as a single-plate meal.

Notes

Each piece is handcrafted, cherishing the natural texture of the earthenware.
Therefore, the appearance of each item, such as how the glaze is applied, is unique.
We hope you enjoy the diverse character of each vessel.
*Crazing (thin lines) and glaze crystallization may be present. If immersed in water or hot water, discoloration may occur; this is a characteristic of the glaze and does not affect the quality.

Handling Precautions

・When using for the first time, always wash with water or lukewarm water.
・"Medome" (pre-treatment) can help prevent food colors from seeping in.
・After use, remove dirt promptly and store after drying thoroughly.
・When stacking, place a sheet of tissue paper between items to prevent scratches.
・Avoid using abrasive cleaners, detergents with abrasives, scouring powder, metal scrubbers, etc., as vigorous scrubbing may scratch the surface. Please wash with a soft sponge.

Regarding gift wrapping

Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.

If you have selected multiple items and would like each to be wrapped individually, please purchase the necessary number of gift wrappings.

Delivery Information

Shipping Lead Times

Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 business days.

Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your items have been dispatched.

Due to our system, we are unable to consolidate multiple orders after they have been placed. We appreciate your understanding.
