"fog" is enveloped in a veil of mist, exhibiting a soft appearance and an ethereal ambiance. Its serene and elegant presence calms the heart every time you hold it.

My encounter with "fog" occurred during a visit to the atelier of Sakuzan Kiln, located in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. Sakuzan Kiln operates under the concept of "beauty from deliciousness," pursuing beauty and usability suitable for each vessel from 14 types of clay and over 100 glaze colors. Drawn by the vibrant glazes and beautiful designs, I made an audacious request to collaborate on creating special everyday tableware. Despite my bold request, they graciously created seven types of items, including three plate sizes, three bowl sizes, and a mug, hoping they could be used in various settings.

The beauty, reminiscent of natural landscapes and exotic scenery, subtly blends into any dining table, enhancing the appeal of your dishes and adding richness and warmth to your daily life.

fog PLATE

There are various shapes of plates, aren't there? From those with wide rims to narrow ones.

Among them, we opted for the most simple and familiar shape.

Perhaps "Simple is best" is the most fitting phrase for this form.

Available in three sizes: 15cm, 21cm, and 27cm, all of which are plates that will be very useful for everyday meals.
The 15cm plate comes in four colors: WHITE, BLUE, PINK, and GREEN. It's easy to use for salads, desserts, and as side plates, making it a good idea to collect them in different colors.
The 21cm and 27cm plates are available in two colors: WHITE and BLUE, perfect for main dishes or single-plate meals.
By combining different sizes and colors, you can create a gentle rhythm on your dining table.

15cm PLATE

The 15cm plate is perfect for salads and small appetizers.

It's also great for serving small snacks or desserts, and its size makes it ideal as a side plate.

Even small, it has enough presence to add color to your dining table.

It comes in four color variations: WHITE, BLUE, PINK, and GREEN.
The gentle, misty tones reveal a different expression in each.
You can choose colors according to the season or your mood, or enjoy arranging different colors for your family.

The 21cm plate is the most frequently used size. It's easy to use for serving sandwiches, pasta, or stir-fries, and the key is its ability to balance various dishes. This single plate is satisfying in size.

Notes

Each piece is handcrafted, cherishing the natural texture of the earthenware.
Therefore, the appearance of each item, such as how the glaze is applied, is unique.
We hope you enjoy the diverse character of each vessel.
*Crazing (thin lines) and glaze crystallization may be present. If immersed in water or hot water, discoloration may occur; this is a characteristic of the glaze and does not affect the quality.

Handling Precautions

・When using for the first time, always wash with water or lukewarm water.
・"Medome" (pre-treatment) can help prevent food colors from seeping in.
・After use, remove dirt promptly and store after drying thoroughly.
・When stacking, place a sheet of tissue paper between items to prevent scratches.
・Avoid using abrasive cleaners, detergents with abrasives, scouring powder, metal scrubbers, etc., as vigorous scrubbing may scratch the surface. Please wash with a soft sponge.

Regarding gift wrapping

Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.

If you have selected multiple items and would like each to be wrapped individually, please purchase the necessary number of gift wrappings.

Delivery Information

Shipping Lead Times

Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 business days.

Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your items have been dispatched.

Due to our system, we are unable to consolidate multiple orders after they have been placed. We appreciate your understanding.
