Handling Precautions

*When cutting anything other than dry items, wet both sides with water before use, then drain the water and use.
*Wash as soon as possible after use. We recommend scrubbing with a brush and water. Do not use more detergent than necessary, and rinse thoroughly if you do use it.
*After washing, wipe the entire surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
*The trick is to stand it up in a dish rack or cutting board stand so that it is suspended in the air.
*Store in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
*Do not use a dishwasher, as this may cause warping or cracking.
*The unique scent of ginkgo wood may be present, but it will fade with use.

Regarding gift wrapping

Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.

If you have selected multiple items and would like each to be wrapped individually, please purchase the necessary number of gift wrappings.

Delivery Information

Shipping Lead Times

Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 business days.

Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your items have been dispatched.

Woodpecker is a woodworking brand founded by Kenji Fukui, who was born into a family of traditional wood turners in Gifu Prefecture.
He established his brand in 2008 with the concept of "living with wood." The brand's origin lies in a single cutting board Kenji Fukui made for his wife. After studying woodworking techniques and training at a furniture manufacturer, Fukui created a ginkgo wood cutting board at his wife's request.
