SAKUZAN x Amenoie "fog"

Like being enveloped in a veil of mist, "fog" possesses a soft expression and an ethereal atmosphere.
Its quiet and elegant presence calms your heart every time you hold it.

My encounter with fog happened when I visited the atelier of Sakuzan Kiln, which produces ceramics in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture.
Sakuzan Kiln, with its concept of "beauty from deliciousness,"
pursues beauty and usability suitable for each piece, using 14 types of clay and over 100 glazes.
Attracted by the colorful glazes and beautiful designs, I made an unreasonable request to create special everyday tableware together.
Despite my request, they produced 7 types of tableware — 3 plate sizes, 3 bowl sizes, and a mug cup — hoping they could be used in various settings.

Its beauty, reminiscent of natural scenery and exotic landscapes, gently blends into any dining table,
enhancing the appeal of your dishes and adding richness and warmth to your daily life.

The fog bowls come in three sizes: 14cm, 17cm, and 20cm, perfect for everyday dining.

The rim height is easy to use, neither too deep nor too shallow.

Each size can be used in different ways, making them versatile for various occasions.

The 14cm bowl is the ideal size for serving small dishes like fruits, yogurt, or granola. It's also recommended for serving individual portions of soupy dishes.

Notes

Each piece is handcrafted, cherishing the natural texture of the earthenware.
Therefore, the appearance of each item, such as how the glaze is applied, is unique.
We hope you enjoy the diverse character of each vessel.
*Crazing (thin lines) and glaze crystallization may be present. If immersed in water or hot water, discoloration may occur; this is a characteristic of the glaze and does not affect the quality.

Handling Precautions

・When using for the first time, always wash with water or lukewarm water.
・"Medome" (pre-treatment) can help prevent food colors from seeping in.
・After use, remove dirt promptly and store after drying thoroughly.
・When stacking, place a sheet of tissue paper between items to prevent scratches.
・Avoid using abrasive cleaners, detergents with abrasives, scouring powder, metal scrubbers, etc., as vigorous scrubbing may scratch the surface. Please wash with a soft sponge.

Regarding gift wrapping

Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.

If you have selected multiple items and would like each to be wrapped individually, please purchase the necessary number of gift wrappings.
If you would like items to be wrapped together, please specify this in the "Notes" section of your cart, and we will accommodate your request.

Delivery Information

Shipping Lead Times

Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 business days.

Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your items have been dispatched.

Due to our system, we are unable to consolidate multiple orders after they have been placed. We appreciate your understanding.

*During peak seasons in Japan—such as the New Year holidays, Obon (mid-August), or seasonal gift-giving periods (Ochugen in July and Oseibo in December)—date and time specifications may be temporarily unavailable due to high courier volumes.
