〈Handling Wooden Items〉

Wooden items are very sensitive to water, heat, and fire. Therefore, their surfaces are protected by a film of lacquer, oil, or beeswax.
Dishwashers and microwaves are extremely harsh on wood, so please do not use them.
Soaking in water for long periods or exposing to direct sunlight can cause cracking and warping, so please be careful.
When washing, use water or lukewarm water and a sponge.
After washing, immediately remove moisture and wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth.
