Echizen lacquerware, which is said to have originated 1,500 years ago in the Kawada district of Sabae City.
These are the nested bowls from Tsuchinao Shikki, founded in 1962, utilizing the lacquerware production techniques cultivated in this region.

The natural and rich expressions of lacquer and zelkova wood blend well with both Japanese and Western cuisine.
With a gently rounded shape, the design evokes a warmth that makes you want to cup it in your palm.

The "white" version, which preserves the beautiful wood grain of zelkova and is coated with white lacquer, has a softness closer to beige.
