Artisan: Akari Sato / Material: Clay / Region: Toki City, Gifu Prefecture
Faintly gentle softness, and a unique presence despite its simple form.
The smooth, earthy texture that brings a sense of comfort the moment you touch it, the delicate and ephemeral brushstrokes that seem to come alive, and the novel expression created by the uniquely blended Raku glaze within its simplicity, all contribute to its endearing quality. The differing layers of material are also a distinctive feature, giving the piece a sense of depth.
The bowl with its gentle curves and three-dimensional form is available in three colors: Sekiboku (Snow White), Tanpaku (Pale White), and Sumi (Ink).
Its exotic design immediately caught our eye.
Beyond its functional beauty as a vessel, it offers a luxurious feel that makes any dish look exceptional.
Due to its depth, the bowl is suitable for Japanese, Western, or Chinese cuisine, main dishes, large fruits, soups, stews, and dishes where ingredients need to be mixed, such as salads.

※The white glaze marks on this piece are intentionally applied and are part of the work's characteristics. These are natural patterns that appear in the final firing process and are not defects or faulty products. Please be aware of this beforehand.
※The texture of the glaze is that of Raku ware, creating a unique texture with translucency. This was achieved through repeated trial and error to express the appearance of frosted window glass or a snowy landscape.
※There may be areas that appear to have cosmetic clay peeling, scratches, or chips, but please enjoy these as part of the piece's unique character.
※As each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in size, shape, and color, and it may differ from the photo.
※When serving hot food, it is recommended to soak the piece sufficiently in hot water. When serving cold food, it is recommended to soak it sufficiently in cold water before use.
