Hizen Yoshida-yaki is a ceramic ware produced in Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, famous as a tea-producing region and one of Japan's leading hot spring areas.
"224porcelain" is a brand born from this small production region.

Without being bound by conventional styles, the vessels created from free-thinking perfectly blend traditional techniques with modern sensibilities.

We brought home ceramic vessels with a soft appearance, adorned with white porcelain and pale lapis lazuli glazes.
These were created by "224porcelain," a Yoshida-yaki kiln in Saga Prefecture, under the supervision of ceramic artist Shingo Oka.

Their appeal lies in their gentle, ancient-pottery-like texture, the smooth quality of the glaze, and their functional form designed for ease of use.
The intentional "drips" of glaze create variations in shade, conveying the presence of the artisan in each piece.

This is a 5-inch serving bowl.
It's a vessel that gently blends into modern life, created based on a recipe directly passed down from Mr. Oka.

The soft white of the glaze透け is faintly milky white, giving the white porcelain a somewhat nostalgic feel.
While maintaining a dignified appearance in clear light, it features a gentle expression with a hint of warmth.
It beautifully presents side dishes, dressed vegetables, and fruits, elegantly complementing daily meals.
