Hizen Yoshida-yaki is a type of ceramics made in Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, famous as a tea-producing region and one of Japan's leading hot spring resorts.
"224porcelain" is a brand born from this small production area.

Unbound by conventional styles, the vessels born from free-thinking brilliantly fuse traditional techniques with modern sensibilities.

Rinka 3-Sun Plate

These porcelain vessels, adorned with white celadon and pale lapis lazuli glazes, were created by the Yoshida-yaki kiln "224porcelain" under the supervision of ceramic artist Shingo Oka.

The soft texture reminiscent of antique pottery, the luscious expression of the glaze, and the flower petal-shaped rim of the rinka form.
The subtle variations in color created by the deliberately left "drips" of glaze imbue each piece with a distinct individuality and the lingering touch of the craftsman.

The small 3-sun size is just right, useful not only for side dishes and small bowls but also as a condiment or sauce dish.

The white celadon, with its faintly milky white glaze, is bathed in a soft light.
In its serene tranquility, the warmth of handcrafted work gently suffuses, creating a gentle presence.
Simply arranging small sweets or fruits on it makes it a dish that somehow soothes the soul.

【Usage Precautions】
・Before first use, always wash with water or lukewarm water.
・Sealing the pores will make it harder for food colors to seep in.
・After use, remove dirt promptly and store after drying thoroughly.
・When stacking, inserting a thin piece of paper between them will prevent scratches.
・Strong scrubbing with abrasives, abrasive cleaners, cleansers, metal scrubbers, etc., may scratch the surface, so please avoid their use and wash with a soft sponge.
