What shapes the impression of a space

When I feel like subtly changing the atmosphere of a room, I might try placing a new flower vase or arranging my favorite artist's pottery. I tend to reach for "visible things."
However, I believe that fragrance also quietly shapes the impression of a space.

For example, a spritz of fragrance as a finishing touch after opening the windows and airing out the room first thing in the morning.
Or, the scent I choose when I come home from work and want to switch from "on" to "off."

It's like wearing an "atmosphere" that resonates with my current mood, similar to putting on a favorite outfit. While fragrances don't have a physical form like furniture or decorations, they might be the most intimate and lightest "tools for living."

A fragrance I naturally reach for in my daily life

One fragrance that has seamlessly blended into my daily life is the fragrance spray from "kibn." I've been using it continuously for about two years now. 

Every time it runs out, I'm tempted by other scents, but I always end up getting it again.
Before I knew it, it had become an indispensable part of my routine.

In the morning, after airing out the room, I invariably reach for "Dsus4."
The tranquil woody scents of hinoki and palo santo are layered with the refreshing coolness of lime and peppermint. It's a pleasantly crisp and uplifting scent that helps me stay focused during work or when I want to quietly reflect.

When I want to feel a little more upbeat and vibrant, I choose "G♭maj9."
From the refreshing opening of bergamot, it gradually unfolds into a complex and deep fragrance of hiba, patchouli, and safflower. It offers a soft exhilaration amidst tranquility, perfect for when I need a little push.

The moment of choosing between the two, depending on my mood, has also become a small pleasure.

Fragrances that carry stories

Last autumn, Mr. Ando, the perfumer from Lunef, created an original scent for Amenoyie. This led me to acquire several Lunef fragrances, adding to my enjoyment of choosing.
