Chopsticks aren't just utensils; they're an important part of food culture.
In Japan, they are indispensable tools for savoring food. I love how using them every day allows me to directly feel the ingredients and their warmth. These particular chopsticks are made from natural wood, feel great in the hand, and have just the right weight.
Chopsticks that combine beauty and functionality, fitting perfectly in your hand
We offer two sizes. The medium size is recommended for women and children, while the large size is ideal for men.
The gracefully tapered tips are beautiful, and the handles, carved through 11 steps, fit comfortably in the hand and are easy to grip. The slender design not only looks smart but also proves to be highly effective and comfortable in actual use, allowing you to grip food securely. You can easily handle even small ingredients, feeling as if the chopsticks are an extension of your hand.

An encounter with special chopsticks
While dining at a certain restaurant, I was captivated by the beautiful chopsticks provided and inquired where they were purchased. I was told about a shop called "Daikokuya."
Daikokuya is located in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, and upon investigation, I learned that the Sumida and Katsushika areas have a history of making wooden chopsticks since the early Taisho era. "Edo chopsticks" is a trademark of Daikokuya, reflecting not only their long history of chopstick making but also their dedication to pursuing ease of use from the customer's perspective.
Inside the cozy shop, more than 200 types of chopsticks were neatly displayed. Among them, a pair of chopsticks quietly placed on a table immediately caught my eye. I was so captivated by their beauty that I asked if I could purchase them, only to be told that they were specially made for a famous restaurant and not for sale.
Feeling disappointed but about to give up, Mr. Marukawa, the president and craftsman of Daikokuya, specially allowed me to have those chopsticks. I cherish these special chopsticks that I obtained in this way.

Regarding gift wrapping
Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.

If you have selected multiple items and would like each to be wrapped individually, please purchase the necessary number of gift wrappings.
If you would like items to be wrapped together, please specify this in the "Notes" section of your cart, and we will accommodate your request.

Shipping Lead Times
Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 days.
Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email as soon as your items have been dispatched.

For orders placed by 12:00 PM (JST) on business days, the order will be processed on the same day. You may select a delivery date starting from 3 days after your order date.
