When a friend had a baby, I was looking for a gift. Knowing that it would touch delicate baby skin, I wanted to choose something gentle and something that could be used every day without worry. That's when I discovered tinymame, a baby and kids brand born from a textile manufacturer in Imabari, Ehime.

Baby-friendly materials

The moment I touched a tinymame towel, I was surprised by its softness. It's smooth and fluffy, just like silk.

The material is 100% organic cotton. It is said to be a high-quality, rare cotton grown using traditional farming methods in India. Since even the ribbed edges are made from the same material, you can feel safe no matter where you touch it.

For swaddling or bath time

It's a large hooded towel that provides comfort when wrapped around. Made from absorbent cotton, it quickly soaks up water from wet hair after a bath. It's a reliable item that can be used as a swaddle or blanket for newborns, and later as a bath towel when the child gets a little older.

A reassuringly fluffy vest

With a relaxed fit, it can be used for a long time, both as a baby sleeping bag and as a vest when the child gets a little bigger. Three buttons on the front prevent the hem from riding up during sleep, providing peace of mind. When the child becomes more active, only fastening the top two buttons keeps the shoulders neat and allows for easier movement. The areas around the buttons are reinforced with interlining and lining, designed to withstand daily activity without damage.
