Notes

* The white glaze marks on this piece are intentionally applied and are part of the work's unique characteristics. These are natural patterns that appear during the final firing process and are not defects or flaws. Please be aware of this in advance.
* The texture of the glaze is Raku ware-like, creating a unique, translucent appearance. This was perfected through repeated trials to evoke frosted windowpanes and snowy landscapes.
* There may be areas that appear to be chipped, scratched, or missing slip, but please enjoy these as part of the piece's unique aesthetic.
As these are handmade items, there may be individual differences in size, shape, and color, and they may differ from the photographs.

Handling Precautions

[Usage]
Mugs and Cups: As these have been treated to be water-repellent, there is no need for seasoning; you can use them as they are.
When serving hot food, we recommend filling the item with hot water first. When serving cold food, fill it with cold water thoroughly before use.
[Care]
You can wash these items with a soft sponge and neutral detergent.
Storing them while still damp can lead to mold and odors.
[Storage]
When storing in a cupboard for an extended period, please ensure they are thoroughly dry before putting them away.
[If Stained or Odorous]
Tea stains and other marks may appear with use. While these will gradually blend into the ware, if odors are a concern, you can try soaking the item in baking soda solution for half a day to a full day, then drying it, which may help remove the odor.

Creator / Akari Sato Material / Clay Region / Toki City, Gifu Prefecture

This mug is arguably a signature piece by ceramic artist Akari Sato.

The patterns drawn on the sides are not pre-determined designs, but rather emerged from her hands moving as she felt comfortable at the time.
The freely drawn lines and ink painting-like blurred expressions intertwine, creating unique appearances for each piece.

Though simple in form, its presence is mysteriously captivating.
Each time you pick it up, your eyes are drawn to the scenes depicted on it.

The Raku glaze specially blended by Sato was born from repeated trial and error, envisioning frosted windowpanes and snowy landscapes.

For moments of slow indulgence with coffee or tea.
It's a piece whose expression you'll want to gaze at, whether you're using it or not.
