Notes

Each piece is handmade, valuing the natural texture of earthenware.
As a result, every piece has a unique appearance, such as variations in how the glaze is applied.

Handling Precautions

・When using for the first time, always wash with water or lukewarm water.
・"Medome" (pre-treatment) can help prevent food colors from seeping in.
・After use, remove dirt promptly and store after drying thoroughly.
・When stacking, place a sheet of tissue paper between items to prevent scratches.
・Avoid using abrasive cleaners, detergents with abrasives, scouring powder, metal scrubbers, etc., as vigorous scrubbing may scratch the surface. Please wash with a soft sponge.

Regarding gift wrapping

Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.
Please select "Would you like gift wrapping?" below the "Add to Cart" button on each product page.
If you have selected multiple items and would like each to be wrapped individually, please purchase the necessary number of gift wrappings.
If you would like items to be wrapped together, please specify this in the "Notes" section of your cart, and we will accommodate your request.

Delivery Information

Shipping Lead Times

Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 business days.

Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your items have been dispatched.

*Please note that each separate order is shipped as a separate package.
Due to our system, we are unable to consolidate multiple orders after they have been placed. We appreciate your understanding.

For international orders, your items will be shipped as soon as they are ready, and we are unable to accept specific delivery date or time requests.

For orders placed by 12:00 PM (JST) on business days, the order will be processed on the same day. You may select a delivery date starting from 3 days after your order date.
If you prefer the earliest possible delivery, please leave the date unspecified, and we will ship your items as soon as they are ready.

Kasengama

Porcelain vessels produced by the Mikawachi ware kiln "Kasengama," under the supervision of ceramic artist Shingo Oka.
Kasengama is a renowned kiln of Mikawachi ware, located in Mikawachi-cho, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, boasting a history of over 400 years.
The smooth texture of the glaze, the functional and easy-to-use form, and the soft, antique-like charm effortlessly blend into any dining table.

White Porcelain Twisted Carved Cup

This white porcelain cup, with its soft ambiance, was born from a recipe directly passed down by Mr. Oka.
Its porcelain properties make it resistant to odors and color transfer, a welcome feature for easy cleaning.
The smooth rim allowed me to appreciate the delicate flavors of the beverage even more.
With a design that seems familiar yet is rarely encountered, it has an appearance that is perfectly balanced between Japanese and Western styles.
Its ease of use, effortlessly blending in with any meal, is also one of its charms.
