A Special Encounter: The Teapot I Found

It all started one day when I thought, "I'd like to brew tea in a kyusu and enjoy some relaxing time." That's when I began my search for a teapot.

Because of my busy daily life, I wanted to enjoy a slightly luxurious time.

However, as I started searching, all I found were classic designs, and nothing really caught my eye.

That's when I encountered Jinsui, a kiln in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture.

I was immediately interested because it was a kiln with a 100-year history that continued to create designs perfect for modern life.

When I visited Tokoname and met Mr. Watanabe, the representative of Jinsui, I was captivated by his teapots. While many teapots are classic, Jinsui's teapots are simple yet modern.

Their soft colors and refined designs seemed to naturally blend in with any table setting, and I instinctively felt, "This is it!"

Mr. Watanabe told me, "I want to create teapots that preserve tradition while fitting modern lifestyles," and I resonated with his words. It was truly the moment I found a special teapot that was easy to use every day.

JINSUI IROIRO 02

The IROIRO 02 has a capacity of 450ml and can brew about 3 to 4 cups of tea.

It's the perfect size for relaxing at home or for a tea party with friends.

You can pour plenty, so you can enjoy your tea to your heart's content.

The teapots are available in three colors: ivory, gray, and black.

All colors are easy to incorporate, so it's hard to choose!

I use ivory for 01 and black for 02!

White is recommended for those who prefer a bright and warm atmosphere. You can enjoy a casual yet elegant table setting, and it pairs well with both Japanese and Western dishes.

Gray is perfect for those who prefer a simple and sophisticated design. For those who are particular about modern interiors, the calm color scheme gives a stylish impression, making tea time even more refined.

Black is recommended for those who prefer a cool and chic impression. It pairs well with other tableware and is ideal for those who want a sharp look. It's an impactful item not just for tea but for enjoying various beverages.

"Ceramesh" for Extracting the Deliciousness of Tea

Jinsui's teapots use a fine ceramic tea strainer called "Ceramesh," which allows for delicious extraction down to the last drop of tea leaves. Since no metal is used, there's no metallic taste, and you can enjoy a mellow flavor.

Since a teapot is something you use every day, design and ease of use are important.

Jinsui's teapots combine both. Beyond their modern and simple appearance, they are special pieces where you can feel the craftsman's skill and Mr. Watanabe's dedication with every use.

We recommend combining them with teacups from the same series.

Handling Precautions

-Maintenance Method-
1. After using the teapot, rinse it with water and wipe it thoroughly to remove moisture.
2. Furthermore, dry the teapot in a well-ventilated area with the lid removed.

*When washing, we recommend hand-washing with water.

Gift wrapping is available for 390 yen (tax included) per item.

Delivery Information

Shipping Lead Times

Normally, your selected items will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
In some cases, such as during busy periods or when extra care is needed for inspection and packaging, it may take a little longer. However, all orders will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 days.

Should there be a delay beyond the usual timeframe, we will contact you via email in advance.
We will also send a shipping confirmation email as soon as your items have been dispatched.

Due to our system, we are unable to consolidate multiple orders after they have been placed. We appreciate your understanding.

Scheduled Delivery

You can specify your preferred delivery date and time within the cart screen.

For orders placed by 12:00 PM (JST) on business days, the order will be processed on the same day. You may select a delivery date starting from 3 days after your order date.
If you prefer the earliest possible delivery, please leave the date unspecified, and we will ship your items as soon as they are ready.

*Please note that time-specific delivery may not be available for certain remote islands or mountainous regions.
Additionally, for areas that naturally require more days for delivery, we may not be able to meet your requested date. In such cases, we will contact you in advance.

*For large items such as furniture, scheduled delivery is not available as they require specialized shipping services. We appreciate your understanding.

*During peak seasons, such as gift-giving periods (Ochugen/Oseibo), Obon, or the New Year holidays, date and time specifications may be temporarily unavailable due to high courier volumes.
