SAKUZAN x Amenoiye "clay"
Having rarely owned deep bowls before, the desire for "a bowl of this shape" led to the creation of the "clay" bowl in collaboration with Sakuzangama. We named it with the hope that many people would experience the charm of the clay in this vessel.

Rich texture created by recycled clay
The natural, earthy texture remaining on the exterior of "clay" is unique to "recycled clay," which is made by finely crushing fired vessels and mixing them with new clay. By incorporating various types of recycled clay, subtle particles and color variations overlap within the clay, creating a rich texture with depth. No two are exactly alike, making each bowl a unique "landscape of earth."
Soft form created by human hands
After shaping with a mold, artisans carefully adjust the roundness and curves of the rim one by one by hand. A characteristic feature is the gently inward-curving rim, which appears as a soft, triangular shape when viewed from above. The expression changes depending on the angle, allowing you to feel the comfortable undulation unique to handmade craftsmanship.
3 sizes: S, M, L
S is perfect for serving or soup, M for side dishes, and L for main courses.
Easy-to-use white and black
White has a soft hue from transparent glaze, and a smooth, slick feel. Black uses a deep black glaze, resulting in a subdued color that isn't too dark, and has a slightly rough texture to the touch.
Comfortable in any combination
Whether you match the colors or combine different sizes, the beauty of "clay" is that any combination naturally harmonizes and blends in. It gently fits into any dining scene, be it Japanese, Western, or Chinese.
Neatly stackable for beautiful storage
The fact that they can be neatly nested for storage is another great feature. They don't take up much space in the kitchen, and their stacked appearance is beautiful.
A dining table filled with the warmth of earth
The simple and gentle expression of "clay" softly envelops the scene of your dining table. This vessel gently accommodates both everyday meals and special dishes.
