SAKUZAN × Amenoi "clay"
I hardly owned any deep bowls until now, so I collaborated with Sakuzan Kiln to create the "clay" bowl, driven by the thought, "I wish there was a shape like this."
I named it with the hope that many people would experience the charm of the clay that this vessel possesses.

Rich Expression Created by Recycled Clay
The earthy texture remaining on the exterior of "clay."
This is possible because it is "recycled clay," made by crushing fired pottery into fine pieces and mixing it with new clay. By blending various types of recycled clay, subtle particles and color variations overlap within the clay, creating a rich expression with depth.
No two pieces are exactly alike, making each bowl a unique "landscape of earth" to enjoy.
Soft Forms Created by Human Hands
After shaping with a mold, artisans individually adjust the roundness and curves of the rim by hand.
A characteristic feature is the gently inward-curling rim, which gives it a soft, triangular shape when viewed from above. The expression changes depending on the angle, allowing you to feel the comfortable undulation unique to handcrafted items.
3 Sizes: S, M, L
S is perfect for serving or soup, M for side dishes, and L for main dishes.
Easy-to-Use White and Black
White has a soft hue from transparent glaze, with a smooth, slick feel.
Black uses a deep black glaze, resulting in a subdued color that isn't too dark, and has a slightly rough texture to the touch.
Comfortable in Any Combination
Whether you choose the same color or mix and match different sizes.
The beauty of "clay" is its ability to naturally harmonize and blend in any combination.
It gently complements any dining scene, be it Japanese, Western, or Chinese.
Neatly Stackable for Beautiful Storage
Another pleasing feature is that they can be nested for neat storage.
They don't take up much space in the kitchen, and their stacked appearance is also beautiful.
A Dining Table Filled with the Warmth of Earth
The simple and gentle expression of "clay" softly envelops the scene of your dining table.
It is a vessel that gently embraces both everyday dishes and special meals.
