SAKUZAN x Amenoiye "clay"
Having previously owned very few deep vessels, I collaborated with Sakuzan Kiln to create the "clay" bowl, driven by the desire for "a shape like this."
I named it with the hope that many people would experience the charm of the clay this vessel possesses.

Rich texture created by recycled clay
The earthen texture that remains on the outside of "clay" is
created because it is made from "recycled clay," which is produced by finely crushing fired pottery and mixing it with new clay. By blending various recycled clays, subtle particles and color variations overlap within the clay, creating a rich and profound texture.
No two pieces are alike, making each bowl a unique "landscape of earth" to enjoy.
Soft forms made by human hands
After shaping with a mold, artisans individually hand-finish the roundness and curves of the rim.
Characterized by a softly inwardly curving rim, it appears as a gentle, triangular shape when viewed from above. The expression changes depending on the angle, allowing you to feel the comfortable undulation unique to handmade crafts.
Available in 3 sizes: S, M, L
S is perfect for serving or soup, M for side dishes, and L for main courses.
Easy-to-use white and black
White has a soft hue from transparent glaze and a smooth, slick feel.
Black uses a deep black glaze, resulting in a subdued color that isn't too dark, with a slightly rough texture to the touch.
Comfortable in any combination
Whether you use all the same color or mix and match sizes,
the beauty of "clay" is that any combination naturally comes together and blends in.
It gently harmonizes with any cuisine, be it Japanese, Western, or Chinese.
Neatly stackable for beautiful storage
Another great feature is that they can be neatly stored by stacking them like nesting dolls.
They don't take up much space in the kitchen, and their stacked appearance is also beautiful.
A dining table filled with the warmth of earth
The rustic and gentle expression of "clay" softly envelops the scene of your dining table.
It's a vessel that gently embraces both everyday dishes and special meals.
