SAKUZAN x Amenoiye "clay"
Having previously owned very few deep vessels, I collaborated with Sakuzan Kiln to create the "clay" bowl, driven by the desire for "a shape like this."
I named it with the hope that many people would experience the charm of the clay this vessel possesses.

Rich Textures Created by Recycled Clay
The earthy texture remaining on the exterior of "clay."
This is unique to "recycled clay," which is made by finely crushing fired pottery and mixing it with new clay. By incorporating various recycled clays, subtle particles and color variations overlap within the clay, creating a rich and profound texture.
No two pieces are alike, making each bowl a unique "landscape of earth" to enjoy.
Soft Forms Crafted by Human Hands
After shaping with a mold, artisans meticulously adjust the rounded edges and curves of each rim by hand.
A characteristic feature is the gently inward-curling rim, which, when viewed from above, forms a soft, triangular shape. The expression changes depending on the angle, allowing you to feel the comfortable undulation unique to handmade craftsmanship.
Available in S, M, and L Sizes
S is perfect for serving or soup, M for side dishes, and L for main courses.
Easy-to-use White and Black
White has a soft hue from a transparent glaze and a smooth, slick feel.
Black uses a deep black glaze, resulting in a subdued color that isn't too dark, and has a slightly rough texture to the touch.
Comfortable in Any Combination
Whether you match the colors or combine different sizes, “clay” always comes together naturally and blends in beautifully.
It gently harmonizes with any cuisine, be it Japanese, Western, or Chinese.
Neatly Stackable for Beautiful Storage
The ability to neatly stack them like nesting dolls is another welcome feature.
They don't take up much space in the kitchen, and their stacked appearance is also beautiful.
A Dining Table Filled with the Warmth of Earth
The simple and gentle expression of "clay" softly envelops the scene of your dining table.
It's a vessel that quietly embraces both everyday meals and special dishes.
