Usage & Safety Guidelines:
Even with natural ingredients, allergic reactions may occur depending on your individual constitution or physical condition. We highly recommend reviewing the ingredient list and performing a patch test on the inside of your arm before full use.
Discontinue use immediately if you experience any skin abnormalities such as redness, itchiness, or irritation during use.
Storage & Lifespan:
Because this product contains no added preservatives, please use it as soon as possible after arrival.
If you do not plan to use it immediately, store it in a cool, dark place with low humidity, away from direct sunlight.
Due to the abundance of natural moisturizing components (glycerin), this soap dissolves very easily. To extend the life of your soap, drain it well after each use and store it in a dry area.
Product Characteristics:
Handcrafted soap continuously "breathes" as it gently releases moisture. While the weight listed is measured at the time of shipment, the soap may become slightly lighter by the time it reaches you due to natural water evaporation. Thank you for your understanding.

Choosing Soap with the Same Care as Choosing the Food We EatDuring a change of seasons, struggling with sensitive and fluctuating skin, I was searching for ways to rethink my skincare routine when I discovered the Wakan (traditional herbal) botanical soaps crafted by "Sekken-ya Leaf." I was instantly drawn to their honest, dedicated approach to craft, rooted in the philosophy: "Choosing soap with the same care as choosing the food we eat."
At the heart of this philosophy lies a deeply personal and poignant chapter in the founder, Ms. Suzuki's life. At one point, the commercial products she had always taken for granted suddenly stopped agreeing with her body. Her palms became swollen and red, and the intense itchiness wouldn't subside even after a soothing bath. In her search for something her own body could truly feel safe with, she began handcrafting soap herself—and that was the beautiful beginning of her journey.
Because it comes into direct contact with our skin every single day, we want to choose our soap by listening to our body's quiet needs in that exact moment, just as we do with the nourishing food we eat. This experience felt like a gentle reminder, bringing me back to that simple yet most vital origin.
Waiting Patiently for a Month as the Soap Gently "Grows"They faithfully preserve the traditional "cold process method," which uses absolutely no external heat. Each batch is left to age, cure, and dry naturally over a patient span of more than a month.
The deliberate choice to avoid heat is to ensure that the delicate nutrients of the raw natural oils and Wakan botanical ingredients are sealed inside without being damaged.
By allowing the soap to grow slowly and naturally over time, it becomes richly infused with natural glycerin—a beautiful moisturizing component that helps the skin feel wonderfully hydrated and soft after washing.
A Discovery Set of Four Special Soaps"Which one shall I choose today?" A special collection designed to let you lingeringly enjoy the art of fragrance.
These four exclusive soaps are crafted solely for this limited set, separate from "Sekken-ya Leaf's" signature lineup. Perfectly proportioned to nestle gently in the palm of your hand, each miniature bar is densely packed with its own unique ingredients and captivating aromas. Every soap in this assortment delivers a beautifully clean, crisp, and refreshing finish that is a delight for anyone to use.
