"Comfortable to use, comfortable to display"
As the saying goes, Kenta Nakanishi's works are attractive for their comfortable usability and elegant appearance.
Nakanishi-san, who enjoys mountain climbing, originally made tools for outdoor activities.
He says he consciously creates items that look elegant and blend naturally into daily life.
His works are crafted with attention to detail, such as the way shadows fall when hit by light and the seamless integration of wood grain.
This is a small pitcher made from zelkova wood.
Its rounded, soft shape has the familiarity of a small bowl, while the spout adds the beauty of a functional tool.
Use it for salad dressing, sauces with meals, or as a milk pitcher for tea time.
Simply placing it on your dining table adds a pleasant accent to your usual scene.
The calm color, finished with black wipe lacquer, enhances dishes and tableware while blending in naturally. The strong wood grain unique to zelkova is also one of its charms.
When not in use, its presence on a shelf is picturesque.
It is a tool that quietly accompanies your daily dining table, enriching your time using it.
