Echizen Lacquerware, said to have originated 1,500 years ago in the Kawada district of Echizen City. This is a rice bowl from Tsuchinao Shikki, founded in 1962, utilizing the lacquerware manufacturing techniques cultivated in this region.

The natural and rich expressions of lacquer and zelkova wood blend well with both Japanese and Western dishes. With its gently rounded shape, the design evokes a warmth that makes you want to cup it in your hands.

The "white" version, which preserves the beautiful grain of zelkova and is coated with white lacquer, has a soft, beige-like quality. Its familiar color and smooth curves blend seamlessly into modern dining tables, making it suitable for any occasion.
