Hizen Yoshida-yaki is a ceramic ware produced in Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, which is famous as a tea-producing region and one of Japan's leading hot spring resorts.
224porcelain is a brand born from this small production area.

Unbound by traditional styles, the vessels born from free-thinking brilliantly fuse traditional techniques with modern sensibilities.

Rinka 4-inch Plate

We've introduced a 4-inch plate shaped like a flower (rinka) created by "224porcelain" under the supervision of ceramic artist Shingo Oka.
Both the white porcelain and pale lapis lazuli versions have different appearances, and their gentle textures are captivating.

The soft texture reminiscent of antique pottery, the rich expression of the glaze, and the flower petal-shaped rinka form.
The subtle gradations created by the intentionally left "drips" of glaze quietly embody the creator's touch and each piece's unique individuality.

The palm-sized 4-inch plate is just right for use as a serving dish, dessert plate, or for side dishes and condiments.

The pale lapis lazuli, with its faintly bluish glaze, seems to capture the morning air.
The quiet undulations created by the flow of the glaze have a clear presence, reminiscent of the water's edge.
The soft form of the rinka adds a refreshing splash of color and gentle space to the dining table.

Each piece is handcrafted, valuing the natural texture of the clay.
Therefore, the expression of each piece, such as how the glaze is applied, is unique.

[Precautions for Use]
・When using for the first time, always wash with water or lukewarm water.
・Sealing the pores will make it harder for food colors to penetrate.
・After use, remove dirt promptly and store after drying thoroughly.
・When stacking, gently place a thin sheet of paper between them to prevent scratches.
・Avoid using abrasive cleaners, cleansers containing abrasives, metal scrubbers, etc., as vigorous scrubbing may scratch the surface. Please wash with a soft sponge.
