Keizan Kiln

Keizan Kiln was established in 1957, inheriting the tradition of Arita Town, where Japanese porcelain was born 400 years ago.

Founded with the pursuit of the beauty of sometsuke (underglaze blue), it boasts an astonishing variety of designs, from classical patterns to modern motifs.
Each piece is so unique that you'll want to call it a "once-in-a-lifetime encounter," making you feel indecisive and wanting to pick up this and that.

All of Keizan Kiln's works, from shaping to painting and firing, are done in-house, with the craftsman's thoughts and feelings poured into every detail.
Perhaps this is why the pieces exude a certain gentleness and grace.

Namasu Dish

This namasu dish is highly versatile and a very convenient shape.
It's a shallow medium bowl that can be used for simmered dishes, dressed dishes, small main courses, or as individual serving plates.

Additionally, the slightly curved rim securely holds the food, so it can accommodate a variety of dishes.

Snacks I usually make tend to be monochrome, but this dish makes them look good even without much effort in presentation, so it's very useful.

Even quickly prepared dishes look elegant, like something served at a restaurant, and pair perfectly with the food.
It naturally creates an atmosphere that makes you want to enjoy a drink.

Cooling Dish

Keizan Kiln's dishes are characterized by their clear appearance, created by the interplay of the sometsuke blue and the white space of the white porcelain, bringing a sense of coolness to the eye.
Each time food is served, the dining table is instantly transformed into a calm and orderly scene.

Furthermore, Keizan Kiln's dishes are more about "displaying" than "storing," with the layering of colors and patterns and the balance between dishes beautifully arranging the shelves.
As my collection of favorite dishes gradually grows, I greatly appreciate their stackability and ease of storage.
