Echizen lacquerware, believed to have originated 1500 years ago in the Kawada district of Sabae City.
Tsuchinao Shikki, founded in 1962, creates these nested bowls, utilizing the lacquerware production techniques cultivated in this region.

The natural and rich expressions of lacquer and zelkova wood blend seamlessly with both Japanese and Western cuisine.
