Creator: Akari Sato / Material: Clay / Region: Toki City, Gifu Prefecture

Pale, gentle softness and a unique presence with a simple yet distinctive form.

The smooth, earthy texture that brings a sense of comfort upon touch, the delicate and ephemeral painting that seems to come alive, and the novel expression created by a unique raku glaze amidst its simplicity, all evoke a sense of endearment. The differences in material layers are also distinctive, giving the work a sense of depth.

The bowls, with their gentle curves and three-dimensional form, come in three colors: snow white, pale white, and ink.
Their exotic design immediately caught our eye.
Beyond their functional beauty as tableware, they offer a luxurious feel that makes any dish look exceptional.
The bowls are deep, making them suitable for main dishes, large fruits, soups, stews, and salads, regardless of whether the cuisine is Japanese, Western, or Chinese, especially for dishes where ingredients need to be mixed.

※The white glaze marks on this piece are intentionally applied and are part of the work's characteristic. These are natural patterns that appear during the final firing process and are not defects or faulty products. Please be aware of this in advance.
※The texture of the glaze is that of raku ware, creating a unique, transparent texture. This was achieved through repeated trial and error to express the appearance of frosted windowpanes and snowy landscapes.
※There may be areas that look like peeled cosmetic clay, scratches, or chips, but please enjoy these as part of the work's texture.
※As each piece is handmade, there may be individual differences in size, shape, and color, and they may differ from the photos.
※When serving hot food, we recommend soaking the piece sufficiently in hot water, and when serving cold food, in cold water, before use.
