"fog" is enveloped in a soft expression and a fantastical atmosphere, as if covered by a veil of mist.
Its quiet and elegant presence soothes the heart every time you hold it.
When we visited Sakuzan Kiln in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, we were captivated by the colorful glazes and designs, and requested to create a special set that would complement everyday life, which is how "fog" was born.
Its beauty, reminiscent of natural scenes and exotic landscapes, blends gently into any dining table,
enhancing the appeal of the food and adding richness and warmth to daily life.

SAKUZAN× Amenoiye "clay"

The "clay" bowl was created with Sakuzan Kiln out of a desire for a deep vessel.
It was named with the wish to convey the charm of earth as it is.
The unique texture remaining on the exterior is born from "recycled clay," which is made by crushing fired vessels and mixing them with new earth.
By layering various types of earth, subtle changes in particles and color are created, forming a profound landscape.
This bowl allows you to enjoy a "landscape of earth" where no two are alike.
