  • 2015 Began making wooden vessels after working for a manufacturer

    Moved to Toyama Prefecture and currently producing works
    "foot of the mountain" refers to the fact that I produce my works in the Toyama Plain, overlooking the Tateyama Mountain Range.
Akari Sato Profile
  • 1981
    Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido
    After graduating from university, worked as an assistant to a ceramic artist.
  • 2012 Selected for the Itami International Craft Exhibition
  • 2013 Graduated from Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center, majoring in Ceramic Art
  • Present Creating ceramics in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture (Selected for the 52nd Japan Craft Exhibition / Received the Judge's Award at the 10th International Ceramics Festival Mino)
